Finally in Florida

Finally....FLORIDA! It took us awhile, but we made it.



Bonanza spent the holidays in a slip in West Palm Beach and we ended up in Naples for Christmas with Roy's family.



Driving down the ICW was an experience! We learned a lot about motoring, shallow spots and sand bars, big river currents, anchoring too close to catamarans and running the onboard heater. It's a long way to go (700 miles) at 6mph. But at least the water stays flat, even when the temperature drops and the wind blows. Now we are plandering the next leg of the trip. Yes, it's on to the Bahamas, but which island first? Apparently there are hundreds of islands...
